The Polish Biographical Dictionary (PSB) is a joint publication of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (PAU) realized by the Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History PAN, financed in the years 2012-2016 and 2020-2023 by the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education by means of the National Program for the Development of Humanities.

PSB is issued under the honorary patronage of the Polish Parliament.
